Integrated Healthcare Technology for people suffering from PTSD
PTSD can be a debilitating type of anxiety disorder that 12% of people living in Australia may experience in their lifetime (SANE, 2019).
In 2017, I explored the potential of technological innovation in healthcare and more specifically, how to give greater agency to people suffering from PTSD and encourage an interactive working relationship with their healthcare practitioners.
Ehno was a combined product-service design, experimenting with sophisticated, discrete, wearable technology that could help patients understand situations that may trigger anxiety, help develop workable goals and build resilience without the intervention of medicine.
This project was developed as part of the Connected Health Studio directed by Luca Abate.
